Minibus routes No. 206, 216, 233, 237, 241, 244, 267 and 280 to change as of May 6
As of May 6, the workday schedule of minibus route No. 216 „Centre-Ķengarags” will be changed by increasing the number of runs in order to meet passenger demand. Also starting from this day the workday schedule of minibus route No. 233 „Centre-Ziepniekkalns” will be changed in line with passenger flow, without affecting on-peak hours with the highest passenger demand.
Minibus route No. 237 will be also changed as of May 6. Starting from this date, minibuses will run by the existing route from Imanta to Kr.Valdemāra Street, then in Kr.Valdemāra Street, Stabu Street, Brīvības Street to the terminal in Esplanāde. Those passengers having bought tickets in the route section between Kr.Valdemāra Street and Esplanāde will be allowed to continue their trip to Imanta with the same ticket. Given changes of the route, its workday schedule will be also changed accordingly.
Minibus route No. 241 will be also changed as of May 6, after which the minibuses will run by the existing route to Kr.Valdemāra Street, then in Kr.Valdemāra Street, Raiņa Boulevard, Marijas Street, Merķeļa Street, Tērbatas Street, Dzirnavu Street, Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard to the terminal in Esplanāde. Those passengers having bought tickets in the route section between Kr.Valdemāra Street and Esplanāde will be allowed to continue their trip to the airport with the same ticket. Given changes of the route, its workday and holiday schedules will be also changed accordingly by increasing the number of runs
As of May 6 the workday and holiday schedules of minibus route No. 244 „Centre-Iļģuciems” will be changed by increasing the number of runs in order to meet passenger demand.
As of May 6 changes will be made in minibus route No. 267, which will be extended in Sarkandaugava to the crossing of Tvaika and Sliežu Streets along Zāģeru Street and Tvaika Street. There will be also minor changes in the city centre – the minibuses will run from Sarkandaugava by the route to Dzirnavu Street, then in Dzirnavu Street, Satekles Street, Marijas Street, Gogoļa Street, Turgeņeva Street, Prāgas Street, Puškina Street, Gogoļa Street to the Central railway terminal. Workday and holiday schedules of this route will be also changed accordingly.
There will be also changes in minibus route No. 280. As of May 6 minibuses running to Purvciems will make a circle in the city centre, going along Elizabetes Street, Satekles Street, Marijas Street, A.Čaka Street and further by the route.
As of May 10 changes will be also made in the holiday schedule of minibus No. 206 „Bus station-Mežciems” by increasing the number of runs.
